Senior Services

Senior Program

Berry Hill has an active senior citizens program involving all departments of the city. Here are some of the services provided by the city to senior residents of Berry Hill.

Lifeline Personal Response Service

The city provides free Lifeline response service to resident seniors. Users receive base units and personal help button pendants to wear. When a personal help button is pushed, the base unit alerts the Lifeline Call Center, which can communicate with the user through the base unit to determine what assistance is required and request the appropriate response units, such as the Berry Hill Police.

Transportation Service

The Berry Hill Public Works Department provides seniors free transportation to medical and personal service appointments, groceries and pharmacies by appointment. This service is offered weekdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Senior Lunch

The Senior Program hosts a monthly lunch for Berry Hill seniors at the Community Center. It is held on the Tuesday following the monthly Board of Commissioners meeting.
