Senior Services
Senior Program
Berry Hill has an active senior citizens program involving all departments of the city. Here are some of the services provided by the city to senior residents of Berry Hill.

Lifeline Personal Response Service
The city provides free Lifeline response service to seniors. Users receive base units and personal help button pendants to wear. When a personal help button is pushed, the base unit alerts the Berry Hill Police Dispatcher, who can communicate with the user through the base unit to determine what assistance is required and dispatch or request the appropriate response units.

Transportation Service
The Berry Hill Public Works Department provides seniors free transportation to medical and personal service appointments, groceries and drug stores by appointment. This service is offered weekdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Group transportation is also offered to such events as Senior Expo and flu shot clinics.

Senior Breakfast/Lunch
The Senior Program hosts a monthly breakfast or lunch for Berry Hill seniors at the Community Center. It is held on the Tuesday following the monthly Board of Commissioners meeting.

Senior Trips
The Senior Program schedules occasional day trips for Berry Hill seniors. Destinations are usually within a 150 mile radius of Berry Hill and include state parks and other tourist attractions. The city bus picks up and drops off participants at their homes.
